RAK Medical & Health Sciences University (RAKMHSU) Signs Cooperation Agreement with the Ministry of Health to train UAE Nationals as Nurses - Heartfelt thanks to Ministry of Health – RAKMHSU Starts Conversion Program

As a part of Emiratization drive of Ministry of Health, Government of UAE, to encourage UAE Nationals to join Nursing program, the Ministry of Health has signed an Agreement with RAKMHSU to train UAE Nationals. The selected Science Stream candidates will be directly admitted to Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Program from September 2013 under the auspices of RAK College of Nursing.

RAKMHSU would like to express its sincere thanks and gratefulness to the Ministry of Health for taking the innovative decision of sponsoring UAE Nationals with full scholarships to RAKMHSU. This will be a major step not only in the process of Emiratization but also in minimizing the shortage of Nurses in UAE.

Accordingly, RAKMHSU is happy to announce the starting of the Conversion Program, which is specially designed and meant for the Arts Stream students with a special emphasis on inculcating knowledge of Chemistry, Biology and English to the students that of the Science Stream. Of course, all the Science Stream students who have the requisite merit (as per the CAA Guidelines) can directly get admitted to the Nursing Program. Already 25 National students have joined this Conversion Program, which has commenced on 17th March 2013.

RAKMHSU is very proud to play a very important role in fulfilling the aspirations of the Rulers and the Government in making available the quality Nurses to serve the Nation.
